| King of the Valley – 36×24 Oil. The first painting in my Book Cliff series captures the patriarch of the range. Rising up from the valley floor the iconic Mount Garfield holds court over the valley, keeping a watchful eye on the east entrance of the valley through De Beque Canyon. Up and down the range palisades and hoodoos patiently sit waiting precariously to be called in to action by the king of the valley. |
