Olive Ride II – 24×30. I revisited this intimate view of olives as a larger commissioned work for my second Canyon View piece. When riding a bike through wine country it can be easy to miss the olive trees planted in and around the vineyards. Sometimes you have to stop to take in the small things that are beautiful and amazing around us lest we miss them. The sun peaks through the branches as the olives moderate basking in the warmth of the sun by shading themselves with each other.
