Trail Commute – 36×24 Oil. This painting was inspired from a long weekend camping near Twin Lakes. Just outside of Twin Lakes the quiet morning set in as Shannon and Miles made their way to town and the trails. I couldn’t help but imagine juxtaposition between the calm of riding a bike with dog in tow to a trailhead and the usual morning work commute filled with cars, traffic, and stress.
